2024-2025 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on students' connections to the school and Tillsonburg community. In addition, we will continue to increase students' awareness of mental health supports available to them.
We are doing this to increase student participation in school events and extracurricular activities and promote positive physical and mental health.
Key Actions or Strategies
-
Increase the number of extracurricular activities and clubs available to the
students based on their interests - Increase awareness of mental health supports available to the students.
-
Continue to work with our community partners to build stronger connections
between Glendale High School and the businesses and organizations in the Tillsonburg area.
Community and Home Connections
- Ask your child about what clubs or activities they want to get involved in.
- Try to speak with your child at home about upcoming events.
- Check out this resource TVDSB Mental Health to learn about some supports.
